The Planetarium is a 109-seat, domed, multi-media
theater. A variety of programs are offered to public
audiences and school groups.
Last summer the Kalamazoo Valley Museum planetarium briefly closeed its doors
to remove slide projectors, video projectors, special effect projectors and the old star projector.
They have been replaced with a Digistar 4 Laser projection system, in which one projector covers the entire screen with spectacular images beyond anything shown here before.
All tickets are $3/person
The planetarium will be closed for annual maintenance
