Out of This World: Extraordinary Costumes from Film and Television

Famous original costumes are featured from some of the most popular science fiction and fantasy films and television shows of all time. Indiana Jones's leather jacket and whip, Darth Vader's cape and helmet, and the Wicked Witch of the West's hat are a few of the cultural icons that explore the role of costume in defining characters.

Storytelling Through the Mail: Tall Tale Postcards

Features over 80 examples of "tall tale" postcards from around the United States, which demonstrate a unique form of popular humor dating back to the early 20th century. Other items in the exhibit include taxidermy specimens, newspaper cartoons, and magazine covers, all of which help tell the story of the tall tale postcard.
